This week's Ten Minute card is a being posted a bit late in the day. I am working on swaps as Convention is two weeks away! I really have to get on the ball and crank out these swaps!
Today's card took about five minutes to make. It is the "base" design of one of my Convention swaps. This is a cute little Love Note sized 3" X 3" card. Most of the time was spent on using an aquapainter to color in the cherry blossoms.
Don't forget to check back tomorrow. I've WOWed this little love note up. It'll be one of the cards I use in a hosted Convention swap.
Here's the recipe for this card:
Stamps: Embrace Life
Cardstock: Gable Green, Pretty in Pink, Very Vanilla
Ink: Stazon Jet Black, Pretty in Pink
Here's how to make this card:
- Cut the card base 3" X 6" and fold in half.
- Measure out a Pretty in Pink piece that is 1/8" smaller than the face of the card
- Stamp the Cherry Blossom image on a 2" X 2.25" piece of Very Vanilla
- Adhere the vanilla layer in the top middle of the pink square
- Adhere the pink square to the green base
- Stamp Embrace Live sentiment in the bottom right hand corner
Don't forget! If you have a suggestion for a 10 minute card, or if you want to design one for me to "WOW" on Wednesday, feel free to contact me at Michelle@stampworkshop.com. Guest designers are always welcome!
